Three of Cups

After so many of the cards in the Blades and Staves, the Three of Cups is a breath of fresh air. This is a light and happy card — a card of celebration, friendship and joy.

Three women laugh and dance together, celebrating an unknown triumph. It may be a wedding, a birthday, an accomplishment. Maybe it’s just an occasion to be together and enjoy life and each other’s company.  There is laughter and joy, confiding of secrets and delight in each other’s company.

When the Three of Cups come up, look for the things to celebrate in your life and consider who you would chose to celebrate with? Who are the friends that have been there with you in your sorrow, who now are privileged to laugh with you in your joy? What might you find to celebrate?
