Two of Staves

The Two and Three of Staves work in concert with each other; both are taking stock, surveying the lay of the land, but where the Three looks out to what may be, the Two’s focus is inward.

What are the pillars of your world? What is good and/or settled and/or successful in your life? Where are your ideals? What have you built for yourself, either literally or metaphorically? What relationships are fundamental in your life? Where do you receive your strength, your calm?

Where are you too complacent? Is “settled” simply a synonym for “lazy”? Where could you stand to re-imagine, re-build, take a risk, or introduce some change?
